Robert L. DiEva, passed unexpectedly on Friday, March 19, 2021. Born in Abington, PA to Louis F. DiEva, Sr. and Rose (Zollo) DiEva, Bob was 63 years old. Bob grew up in Warminster and was a graduate of William Tennent High School. Bob leaves behind many heart-broken family members, friends, and his wife and best friend, Doris DiEva. Bob and Doris were married for 36 years, spending most of their married life in Warrington with their Cock-a-Chon dog, Zeus.
After work, Bob enjoyed daily walks with Zeus and stopping to catch up with neighbors. Bob was employed with Bucks County for 31 years. Working for the county, Bob made many friends and participated in several softball leagues. Bob was an avid sports fan who loved playing ball and watching the Eagles every Sunday. Always a kid at heart, the only thing that rivaled Bob’s love of sports was his love for the Christmas holiday season. Every year, Bob and his wife transformed the DiEva household into a winter wonderland with Christmas trees in every room and all the latest Hallmark décor. Bob enjoyed entertaining family members and friends.
In his younger years, Bob would perform a special rendition to Frank Sinatra’s New York, New York which was the highlight of family weddings and parties. Bob will always be remembered by those who knew him as a kind, always-had-time-for-you, heart-of-gold, loving friend. Bob will be missed dearly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to the Bucks County SPCA.
A private celebration of Bob’s life will be held later this year.
