Robert Larson Obituary

Robert T Larson passed away on October 17, 2022. He was the loving husband of Lynne cherishing 22 years of marriage from Chalfont PA. Had a wonderful life previously with deceased wife Jean for many years. Born May 9, 1928 in Jeanette, PA, son of Ethel and Theodore. Predeceasing him were siblings Jack, Richard, and sister Lois (Mullen).

Bob graduated from Simon Gratz HS. At 12 years old Bob worked at Sam’s Grocery store helping out his mother with an ailing father. After high school he worked at Leeds and Northrup. He was drafted in the US Army and is a veteran of the Korean War as a company quartermaster. Honorably discharged in 1952, he worked in sales of business forms for 69 years including his own successful business for many of those. He acquired many faithful clients as he was trustworthy, honest, and loved serving them. During his early career he went to Temple at night for 8 years to earn his business degree.

A loving sports-fan, especially the Phillies and Flyers, he enjoyed season passes for many years. His sense of humor was loved by all. Bob was the patriarch of his family and always there for everyone- in good times and in times of need.

A devoted Lutheran, he was a loyal servant and active member of St John’s Lutheran Church in Hatboro.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Lynne, son Robert W. Larson with grandchildren Erik and Blair (husband Zach), great grandchild Archie; stepson Tracey Schweizer (wife Maria) grandchildren Sophia and Ben; stepson Charles Schweizer (wife Kate) with grandchildren Emma, Patrick, Alexandra, and Molly.

Relatives and friends will be received by his family on November 5 th after 10 am in in St John’s Lutheran Church, Hatboro, and are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 11am. His Interment is private.
