Robert C. McAndrews

Robert (Bob) Conlan McAndrews of Ambler, PA, formerly of Hatboro, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 4, 2023 at the age of 42.  Bob was the loving son of Richard and Cecilia (Goodwin) McAndrews, brother and best friend to Elizabeth Thomson (McAndrews) and Tom McAndrews.

Bob was born at Abington Hospital February 16, 1981.  He graduated from Hatboro Horsham High school, class of 1999. He went on to graduate from Montgomery County Community College in 2001 with an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts.  Bob was the proud owner of McAndrews Plumbing & Electric.  He had been previously employed for several years by PJM, in Audubon PA.  Diagnosed as a Type 1 Juvenile Diabetic at the young age of three, Bob was a warrior and never let his diagnosis hold him back.  He loved fast cars, motorcycles, trucks and heavy machinery.  He loved ice cream, Ocean City NJ, his dogs, bike riding, watching the Phillies and the Eagles, and spending time with his nephews.  Bob loved his family more than anything.  In addition to his parents and siblings, he is survived by brother in law, Ron Thomson, sister in law, Danielle McAndrews, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, coworkers and his dog, Sadie. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to his Visitation on Monday, September 11th after 10am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Rd, Horsham and are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11 am. His interment will be private.
