Robert Thomas Owen

Robert Thomas Owen of Hatboro, PA passed away on December 29, 2022 at Temple University Hospital.  He was 58 years old. Robert was the beloved husband of Patricia Owen (nee Stranix) for 26 years. Robert was born in Hatboro, PA in 1964 and was the son of the late William and Estellar Owen (nee Parker).

Bob was the owner of Owen Tile & Marble and was a professional tile setter. He was a BBQ Grill Master, loved sports, muscle cars, and flying drones. Bob loved animals, especially his dog Cody. He loved spending time with his family and summer vacations at the shore, Florida, and the mountains. Bob was able to fix anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. Bob received a double lung transplant in July of 2019 and was blessed with three and a half additional years with his family. Bob and his family are forever grateful to his donor.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife Patty Owen, children: Kyle, Holly and Ryan; step mother Barbara Owen; brothers: Scott and Dave Owen; sister: Gale Wardlow; in-laws: Sonny Wardlow, Beth and Ralph Cotton, Theresa Smith, Eddie and Kristi Stranix, Beth Milsop and many beloved nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by Mary and Robert Stranix, T.J. Smith and Little Sonny.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bob’s visitation on Friday, January 6, 2023 after 10:00 am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:30 am in Nativity Of Our Lord Church located at 605 W. Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974.His interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery, Ambler.
