Robert M. Soda, affectionately known as Bob, passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 74 after courageously battling congestive heart failure for over two decades. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Bob carried his city roots proudly throughout his life, even after moving to Warminster, PA in 2011.
Bob was a devoted husband to Marian Soda (née Goshow), with whom he shared 51 wonderful years of marriage. He was the beloved only son of the late Peter and Theresa (Santopietro) Soda. In addition to his loving wife, Bob is survived by his daughters, Christie Wolfen (John) of Elizabeth City, NC, and Michelle Soda-Seagraves (James) of Levittown, PA, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Christian and James.
After graduating from Father Judge High School in 1969, Bob pursued his passion for electronics at Pennco Tech. He dedicated nearly 30 years to his career at Video Projects, specializing in CCTV and simulcasting, until his health required him to step back.
Bob’s life was filled with laughter, friendship, and joy. He loved shooting English Darts with Quaker City English Dart League, where he was nicknamed Soda-Pop, golfing with his summer league friends, cleverly named Club Dead, at Bensalem Country Club and shooting pool with his buddies at Ben Wilson Senior Center. Known for his quick wit and unforgettable one-liners, Bob had a gift for making people smile—a gift that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob’s life on Saturday, December 20, 2025, after 10:00 AM in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Rd, Hatboro, PA 19040 and to attend his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. His interment will be private.
