Robert A. Wadkins, Jr., of Hatboro, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022. He was 69 years old. Robert was the beloved husband of Wendy Lee (nee Jones) Wadkins with whom he had shared over 43 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Robert A. Wadkins, Sr. and Dorothy B. Habbershaw.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his loving daughters, Crystal Rau and her husband, Chris Rau, Sr. and their two sons, Christopher Rau, Jr. and Caden Rau; and April Wadkins; and his loving niece, Karen Ehling; sister, Barbara Kropp and her fiancé, Rich McMurray; brother, Thomas J. Wadkins and his wife, Wendy Jo Wadkins; and his many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by all his adopted children, and they know who they are!
Robert was an animal lover and is also survived by his fur baby, Seeley, who never left his side and his grand puppy, Edward Henry.
Robert was a huge Grateful Dead fan and a classical guitar teacher and piano player. He also loved to go fishing with his good buddy, Bill, and his grandson, Caden. Robert was a great cook who enjoyed sharing the meals he prepared with family and friends. He was known for his infectious smile, had a great sense of humor and was always ready with a joke.
