Robert J. Young, 87, of Horsham passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on October 1, 2022.
Robert was the loving husband of Alma Young (nee Howes) for 30 years. Robert was born in Windermere, Florida in 1935 to his parents, Charlie Young and Lessie Young (nee Montgomery). Robert proudly served his Country in the U.S. Army. Robert was a school bus driver for the School District of Philadelphia and retired after 25 years of service to his beloved students and their parents.
Robert had a special place in his heart volunteered at the Annual Special Olympics. Robert was an avid photographer and videographer at various family and public events, especially the Special Olympics.
Robert is survived by Milagro Aleman; goddaughter, Elexis O’Hara and her brother John O’Hara; nieces: Sophia Bogan and Alicia Bogan; friends: Marisol Bogan and Kobie Feaster; and his beloved dog: LeeLoo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service and celebration of life at Mount Peace Cemetery located at 3111 West Lehigh Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19132 on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 1:30 P.M. precisely.
