Rosemarie A. Rieck

Rosemarie A. Rieck of Chalfont, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.  She was 94 years old. Born in Shenandoah, she was the beloved daughter of John and Estella Pleva. Rosemarie was the beloved wife of the late Louis S. Rieck, with whom she had shared over 57 years of marriage.   

Rosemarie is survived by her loving daughter Louise M. Riendeau and her husband Ralph, her adoring grandchildren; Raphael and Antonio Riendeau and her brother-in-law, Edward Coleman.  Along with her husband and parents, Rosemarie was predeceased by her granddaughter, Angel Riendeau.

Rosemarie was a devoted pharmacist who retired after many years of service at Nazareth Hospital.  She was one of the first females to graduate as a pharmacist from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science.  She loved cooking, sewing, and taking trips with her husband and family. Rosemarie took great pride in the love she gave to her family and the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren.   

Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church located at 321 W. Butler Pike, Chalfont, PA 18914, followed by her funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Her interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA.  In lieu of flowers memorials in Rosemarie’s memory may be donated to Doylestown Health Foundation, 595 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901, and please fill in Palliative Care in the Memo Line.
