Sharon R. Opett

Sharon R. Opett, 82, of Hatboro, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025. Born in Pen Argyl, PA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Doris Wenninger. Sharon was the beloved wife of Robert A. Opett with whom she shared over 44 years of marriage.

Sharon graduated from Wilson Area High School. She cherished her friendships, some of which developed in the early years of her life. She was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Sharon loved her family deeply, making it a point to be as engaged as possible with her grandchildren. She had a passion for cooking and baking, while also enjoying gardening and crafting. Sharon had a true love for the holiday seasons, taking joy in decorating her home for each holiday. She served her community as a Pharmacy Technician, retiring after over 20 years.

In addition to her husband, Sharon is survived by her daughters; JulieAnne Bedard (Alan), Ann Wagner, Jennifer Wagner, Robyn Godfrey. Her sons; Andrew Wagner (Kathleen), Kevin Opett (Petra). Her grandchildren; Malissa Grimsley, Jessica Greiss (Eric), Joshua Bedard, Carlee Wagner, Mariah Godfrey and great granddaughter Rosalie. Her sisters; Judith, Betty Jean, and her nieces and nephews.

A private family celebration of life will be held. In lieu of flowers, and due to her great love of animals, memorials in Sharon's memory may be made to the National Wildlife Federation.
