Theresa M. Hidle

Theresa M. (nee Cavanaugh) Hidle, of Warminster, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024, at the age of 83. She is the beloved wife of the late Tommy L. Hidle with whom she had shared 35 years of marriage. Theresa was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Gladys and Edward Cavanaugh.

Theresa is survived by her three children, Brian Davis and his wife Lorraine, Denise Neason and her husband Rick, and Debbie Sanson and her husband Henry IV. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Andrew Davis, Kevin Davis, Erin (Jonathan) Paulino, Eric Neason, Leah (Antonio) Scalfaro, Henry Sanson V, and Sarah Sanson; a great-grandson, Nico Scalfaro; and a sister, Maria Junier and her husband, Ed.

Theresa graduated from St. Hubert Catholic High School in Philadelphia in 1958 but her education did not stop there. She also received her Associate’s Degree from Bucks County Community College and was a certified realtor. Theresa was a dedicated budget officer for the Department of Defense where she served over 30 years. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was fishing or gathering around the table for some friendly competition in a game of cards. Theresa wasn't just a player; she was a card shark through and through, always ready to challenge anyone who dared to take her on. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, reading countless books, and spending time with her family. She was always looking forward to any holiday, birthday, or event which meant that all of her family would be together, under one roof.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Thursday, March 28th after 10 am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road and are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11 am.
