Thomas Weir Bowie III of Horsham, PA passed away peacefully on July 1, 2020 in Warminster, PA. He was 68. He was the beloved husband of Ann, with whom he shared almost 40 years of marriage. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, and was the son of the late Thomas and Elaine Bowie.
Tom was a member of the teamsters, working as a mechanic for Mrs. Smith's Pie Company and a tractor trailer driver for United Parcel Service. He retired early and loved spending his retirement time first in Ocean City, NJ and most recently in Brigantine, NJ. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a gentle, kind, and funny dad and pop-pop who will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by two sons, Thomas Bowie (Cindy) and Michael Bowie (Genna) and a daughter, Christine Araco (Nick). He is also survived by his brother, Glenn Bowie (Maryann), 4 grandchildren (Jackson, Nico, Luca and Gianna), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and interment will be private, with a life celebration to be held when conditions permit.
