Thomas J. Fox, a lifelong resident of Warminster, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, May 21, 2021.
Tom is survived by the love of his life, Kathy, with whom he was married for 43 years. He is also survived by his son James (Melissa), the family of his late son Brad (Lynsay Fox-Watts), stepmother Helen Fox, and siblings Pat Miller (Tom), Eileen Cunnane (Jeff), Mary Kay Demetriou (Jim), John (Barb), Edward, Michael, and Matthew (Maryann). Tom loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids Danny, Kadence, Brad, Mason, Landon, and Anthony as well as his many nieces and nephews. Tom was born to the late John and Nancy Fox in Philadelphia on July 14, 1958. He attended William Tennent High School before proudly serving in the United States Army, where he retired with the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4). Tom continued to support his fellow veterans as a member of the VFW Post #6493 and the American Legion Post 798, both located in Warminster. Tom was a member of Laborers’ Local Union #57.
After Brad’s death as a Plymouth Township Police Officer, Tom spent much of his time honoring his son by providing guidance and leadership to the Brad Fox Foundation and many other events that honor his son’s sacrifice as well as that of the many men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country and communities. Tom remained grateful until his passing for the outpouring of support that his family received and that continues today.
