Thomas Schaub Obituary

Thomas J. Schaub of Warminster, PA passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024. He was 83 years old. Thomas was the beloved husband of Barbara A. Schaub with whom he had shared over 57 years of marriage. Thomas was born in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Thomas and Lillian Schaub.

In addition to his wife, Thomas is survived by two sons; Christopher Schaub and his wife Kerry, Michael Schaub and his wife Jennifer, Grandchildren: Emma, Aiden, Grace, Charlotte and Ethan Schaub as well as two brothers; Ronald and Robert Schaub.

Tom's love of travel began when he served three tours in the United States Navy aboard the USS Intrepid, working on special weapons from 1958 to 1962, sailing the Mediterranean. In later years, he was happy to share his knowledge and love of the Intrepid's history with his sons and grandchildren on a tour of the carrier. His love of travel continued with many vacations he took with Barbara, most memorably Alaska, The Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, two Viking European cruises and their annual trip to Palm Beach Florida. Thomas spent 37 years with NCR Corp as a valuable service technician. During his time outside his career, Thomas was a devoted father to Chris and Mike. Tom was happily involved with various activities as the boys grew up, including being an assistant baseball and soccer coach, as well as supporting both boys in achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Tom also woke up happily before sunrise to help the boys with their paper route. Not only was Tom giving of his time to his sons, but he also enjoyed helping his neighbors. Tom was also appreciative of the relationships he had with many dear friends. Tom's additional hobbies included being an avid hunter and outdoorsman who took great pride in his lawn, garden and his home.
