Vernon J. Schumacher

Vernon J. Schumacher of Warminster passed away on August 25, 2022 at Doylestown Hospital.  He was 89. He was the beloved husband of Doris whom he shared 66 years of marriage.

After graduating from University of Pennsylvania College, Vern joined the Air Force and was honorably discharged. Vern worked at and retired from Cigna.  He enjoyed Bowling and singing.

In addition to his wife, Vern is survived by his son Kenneth Schumacher and his wife Sheree of Warminster, a daughter Donna Kuhn of Warminster, his grandson Roger Kuhn and wife Cara of Warminster and his 2 great grandchildren Carter and Claire.

Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Saturday, September 17th after 10:00 am in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 505 N. York Road, Hatboro and are invited to attend His Memorial Service at 11:00 am. His Inurnment will follow in Pine Grove Memorial Park, Warminster. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vernon’s name may be made to the Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 E. Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134.
