Walter E. Bostick, Jr.

Walter E. Bostick, Jr. of Hatboro passed away on July 1, 2022. He was 86 years old.  Walter was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor M. Bostick with whom he had shared over 57 years of marriage.  He was born in Philadelphia, PA a son of the late Walter E. and Margarette Bostick, Sr. 

Walter was first and foremost a loving husband, father and family man.  He enjoyed getting together with family and being the one to reach out to all family members.  Walter graduated from Hatboro Horsham High School in 1954 and for the past few years has enjoyed going to lunch with some of his local classmates. He was an avid collector of miniatures, Trains, Cut Glass and Art Glass specifically Fenton Art Glass and was a member of The Fenton Art Glass Collectors of America, American Cut Glass Association and National American Glass Club.  He was an employee and member of the Quarter Century Club of the Philadelphia Electric Company, worked part time at Sears and Roebuck, and prior to retiring spent 12 years with Vanguard.  Walter also enjoyed visiting Historic sites and museums.

He is survived by two sons; Duane H. Bostick and David W. Bostick and his wife Noelle, six grandchildren; Adam, Kelsey, Jennifer, Alex, Victoria and James and five great grandchildren; Jax, Skylar, Blake, Aiden, Brooke

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on July 29, 2022 at Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro from 1 pm to 2 pm. Followed by a brief service starting at 2 pm. His interment will follow in Neshaminy of Warwick Presbyterian Cemetery. If desired memorials in Walter’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association at Heart.org or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
