William C. Hartman II of Hatboro passed away on Sunday April 18, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 74. He was the beloved husband of Susan E. Hartman (Lenio) with whom he shared 43 years of marriage. He was born in Syracuse, NY and the son of the late William C. Hartman and the late Dorothy B. Hartman (Maroney)
Bill was a veteran of the Vietnam War. For his service he earned a Purple Heart. He served honorably in the Army, as an infantry soldier.
Bill was a retired Engineering draftsman and salesman for high performance racing parts. His favorite pastime was racing. He enjoyed his family and friends, was an amazing husband and father and he took extreme pride in his two grandchildren. Bill was known for his long entertaining stories and his incredibly unique sense of humor. He was a perfectionist, loved his truck, remote control, coffee, sweets and used duct tape on just about everything.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by a daughter, Kimberly J. Hartman of Hatboro a grandson, Ricke Soler and a granddaughter, Summer Gallone. Also, two sisters, Lois Earnshaw of Syracuse, NY, Kathy Meyers (James Meyers) of Harlingen, TX and one brother, James Hartman (Anne Marie Hartman) of New Bern, NC.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday April 24, 2021 from 12-1 at Schneider Funeral Home 431 N. York Rd. Hatboro and to attend his funeral service at 1 pm. His interment will be private.
