William James Somogyi Jr.

William J. Somogyi, Jr., of Philadelphia, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. He was 63 years old. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of William J. Somogyi, Sr. and the late Margaret M. Somogyi (nee Leonard).

Bill loved photography, digital editing, and designing homes. Whenever he traveled, or was in his beloved hometown, he was constantly learning and photographing his surroundings and the history around him. Bill also enjoyed baseball and spending time with his family.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his children, Brian, Matthew (Melissa), and Bernadette; his siblings, Annmarie Guthrie (Michael), James J. (Michelle), and Steven A. (Ruth); and his nine nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro. There will be no service and his interment will be held privately. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only 25 people will be allowed inside of the building at a time, social distancing practices must be observed, and masks are mandatory.
